Why mountains are so impressive?
I have once read it is because mountains do not move, that is why they are impressing

While our society creates and destroys, mountains stand still
That is why they are beautiful

I am one of those who agree with this belief

Especially feeling in such a way when I think of Mt. Fuji

You should have a look at the grand figure.

The figure of Mt. Fuji's is handsome
Yet, what gives impress us most is its scale

That high mountain stands still solely
Without crating any ranges

There, we feel the magnificence of its scale And realizing my small existence
Thus could not stop admiring the power of nature
