HISTORY
There is no problem finding an interesting place to eat or shop in
Shimokitazawa. The problem comes when you try to find it again.
Shimokitazawa is a warren of narrow streets wedged between two interlocking
suburban railway lines, but perseverance - aided perhaps by a few scribbled
maps - will pay off and give you access to an area that has preserved the
cozy feel of an old Japanese neighborhood.
