HISTORY
Kobe City is a fairly large city with the population of approximately 1.5 million citizens. The port has opened in 1868, and the area in known for its stylish and exotic foreign atmosphere. Hence a unique culture developed in this city, and there are many kinds of places to see that you would not find in other cities.
Currently the city is putting a great deal of effort in the medical industries and the use of Kobe Airport (opening in 2006), alongside of tourism and fashion industries.
